Precautions for preservation of tents:
1.In addition to cleaning the dust and attachment in time after use, the water should also be wiped off or dry on both sides of the fabric. After the tent is completely dry, fold it and store it. This point is very important. If it is stored without completely drying, it is easy to make the fabric mildew and adhesion, which affects the life of the tent.
2.If you have to remove a humid tent, remember to dry it as much as possible. If the conditions are not allowed, you can temporarily put it in the bag for a day. But if the conditions allow it, take it out to dry the sun, or dry it with a dryer and a hair dryer. Be careful not to bake too close.
3.If moldy occurs, you can scrub it with warm soapy water and a sponge, and then dry it with a dry sponge. Use a sponge with the above half of the cup of Lysol (commonly known as Sur) and a gallon of hot water for washing. Let the solution stay on the surface of the fabric and let it dry. Then, mix a cup of salt, and a cup of lemon juice with a gallon of hot water, knead the solution into those visible molds and finally dry it. Through this method, the mold can be prevented from growing, and eliminating the smell of mold, but the traces of mold cannot be removed. The loss caused by mold is not within the scope of a warranty. These methods are provided just to extend their service life when the tent is moldy.
4.After the tent is completely dry, folded, and stored, try not to put other items on the tent, to avoid permanent fatigue at the bend of the waterproof tape material and degumming. My suggestion is to find a cardboard box specifically for tent storage. When packing, the tent should also be placed on the other items.
