So the construction methods of the tarp and the methods of tying the ropes of the tarp are very important. How to build a tarp?
Three essential sets for camping: tents, tarps, tables and chairs, the combination of these three is always exciting. If it is well matched, the style and beauty of the entire camping atmosphere will be suddenly sublimated, so what is the method of building a tarp?
1.The first way: two tarp poles.
The middle hole on the short side of the curtain is supported by two tarp rods, and the four corners of the curtain are tightened and fixed with wind ropes at 45 degrees downward respectively.
2.The second way: four tarp poles.
The tarp is in the shape of a ridge, and the two tarp poles in the middle should be kept on the same line as the ridge line. The two corners of the short side of the tarp are directly connected to the ground and fixed, and then the middle hole of the long side and the hole on the other end are supported by the tarp rod. After the middle hole is supported, the projection position needs to be close to the grounding hole, and finally fixed with a wind rope to make the side of the tarp look like a figure 7, and this is done. Such a space is more secure, more like a comfortable living room, and the hanging curtain can also double as a projection function.
3.The third way: one tarp pole.
Use ground nails for one corner of the tarp first, and use tarp poles or camp pillars to support the opposite corner. Use the wind rope on the opposite corner to pull the remaining two corners of the ground nails at a 45-degree angle. This way of the building makes the tarp closer to the tent and can play a better effect on sheltering from wind and rain.
4.The forth way: two tarp pole.
The two corners on the same side of the tarp are supported by tarp poles, the wind rope is also pulled down at 45 degrees, and the other side of the tarp is fastened with two ground nails. This way of building can well block the wind and sunlight from one side of the sky, and the effect of blocking wind and shading is very good.
5.The fifth way: one tarp pole.
First, use ground nails to tie the middle end of the tarp, and the opposite end is supported by a tarp pole. Pull the wind rope at a 45-degree angle, put ground nails in the middle of both sides, and fold the excess parts. This method can even replace a tent.
How to tie the rope for the tarp?
The previous article introduced five methods of building the tarp. In the construction of the tarp, the method of tying the ropes of the tarp is particularly important. There will be a three-hole slider on the windproof rope. One end of the slider is knotted, and the other end that is not knotted is the non-scribed end. Specific steps are as follows:
1.Insert the non-slip end of the windproof rope into the buttonhole of the tent, tie it tightly, and then start to adjust the end of the slider.
2.Pull out the loop rope near the end of the rope in the sliding piece, and cover the ground nail.3.Choose the location of the ground nails according to the ground conditions. Generally speaking, the smaller the angle between the windproof rope and the ground, the better the wind resistance of the tarp.
4.Insert the ground nail into the ground at an angle of 45-60 degrees, and drive the ground nail at least 2/3 into the ground, so that the maximum force will be exerted.
5.Tighten the front end of the windproof rope with one hand, and push it toward the tent end by holding the three-hole slider with the other hand, the tighter the better.
6.Release your hand, if the whole wind rope is still tight, it means the wind rope setting is complete. If it is found to be loose, continue to tighten it according to the above method.
