The outdoor environment is complex and changeable. The main function of the tent is to prevent wind, rain, snow, dust, moisture and insects. It provides a relatively comfortable rest environment for campers so that they can sleep well.

Here are five points to explain these problems.
Part 1 tent space
According to the number of people, there are single person tent, double person tent, three person tent and four person tent, etc.
Usually we use double tent. Big for one, two people are completely OK, and three people can squeeze in if any emergency.
Part 2 classification of tents
If you decide to live in a few people, then you have to consider what season and where to use it.
There are many categories of tents, such as general tent, ultra light tent, single-layer tent, double-layer tent, pole tent, self-supporting tent, non self-supporting tent, single door tent, double door tent, etc. In terms of weight, the lighter the better, but we can’t just pursue “ultra light”. What is worth mentioning here is the “super light tent”. Because it is affected by many factors, such as strength, durability, comfort, use method and price, it is not introduced here. The super light tent is not suitable for hiking camping.
Part 3 structure of tent
Tents of different shapes have different advantages and disadvantages. At present, the common shapes are yurts, pyramids, tunnels and fish ridges, as well as other structures improved on these basic styles. The four kinds of tents are also different in building methods.
Part 4 tent fabric
Generally, the tent is composed of external tent, internal tent, tent pole, ground nail, wind rope and ground cloth.
The fabric of the outer curtain mainly determines the waterproof performance. Now there are three kinds of common fabrics, and the strength is enhanced in turn: polyester, nylon and crude benzene. The earlier Oxford cloth has been basically eliminated, or only used as ground cloth material.
Part 5. The appearance of tents
Many hiking campers still attach great importance to appearance. In fact, the color selection of tents is also knowledgeable. A basic principle is to select according to the use environment. It is better to choose bright colors rather than natural colors, so that they can be easily identified. But there are also some problems. The colors of green, blue and gray will feel depressed on cloudy days. The colors of yellow, orange and red brown are easy to attract insects in good weather. It is difficult to distinguish the white mixed in the snow weather. This can only be decided by personal preference.
